It seems Wiz Khalifa has taken a liking to the San Fernando Valley enclave of Encino. Just three years after buying a property in the neighborhood for $3.4 million, the “Young, Wild, & Free” rapper has doubled down with the $7.6 million purchase of a home in that same area, according to Dirt.

The 8,029 square feet modern farmhouse is a brand new build, making Khalifa and his nine-year-old son the first residents of the space. With six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, including a 450 square foot guest house equipped with a kitchenette, there’s ample space for the two of them and several guests. The home is done entirely in simple yet sophisticated natural materials, with wood-paneled accent walls and beams in select rooms, and in the dining room, backlit wood panels on the ceiling. A double sided fireplace separates the home office and living area, with a modern black marble mantle on each side. Dramatic black accents are offered throughout, whether it be in the light fixtures, tiling in a guest bath, or window trim, they offer a striking contrast against the light wood.

Additional amenities on the property include a home gym and a theater, plus a sparkling blue pool. There’s no doubt that Khalifa will personalize the home plenty, as he did at the rented spot Architectural Digest toured in 2018. “I meet a lot of different artists who do stuff and give me stuff,” Khalifa told AD. “I don’t go out and buy because the best art usually just comes from people who are interested in giving it to you.”
