No matter how you slice it, it’s clear that 2021 was a big year for Emma Stone. Along with her starring role in Cruella and welcoming her first child in March, it’s now been revealed that Stone and her husband Dave McCary bought a home in Texas, too. According to Dirt, the Arizona-born actor’s first home in the Lone Star State is a four bedroom, three and a half bathroom traditional-style property located in Austin.

Firm details are hard to come by for Texas off market real estate deals so it’s hard to say how much Stone paid, though it was last valued at $4 million and likely went for much more than that because of the southern city’s bustling market. In any case, it’s likely to be the most expensive real estate purchase in her portfolio, which also includes two Los Angeles area properties—one a $3.25 million mid-century Malibu home and the other a Spanish-style Westwood spot she paid $2.3 million for.

The 5,000 square foot Texas home looks picture perfect for a young family, with a brick exterior complemented by crisp blue shutters, well-manicured hedges, and mature evergreen trees. A detached garage can be found behind the house, and elsewhere on the 1.24 acres of land, a large swimming pool sits amidst shaded lawns. Stone is one of the many celebrities who’ve taken to the Texas city—Renée Zellweger and Sandra Bullock are two of the other big names who own property there.
