Emma Stone is making moves on the real estate front, putting her Beverly Hills home on the market after just about seven years. The La La Land actress, who purchased the home in 2012 for $2.477 million, is seeking $3.899 million for the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom, one-story abode.

The traditional 1950s-style house is tucked away on a secluded street and fronted by a wide driveway, its tomato-red front door tucked almost inconspicuously into a deep porch. Inside, the home is an eclectic palette of colors and designs. The front foyer sports a red-and-white geometric wallpaper that pops in contrast to the dark, glossy wood floors. A few steps down, the home opens up onto a double-height combination living and dining room space, anchored by a quirky asymmetrical white brick fireplace flanked by built-in storage and display cabinets.

Two sets of double French doors line the wall closest to the formal dining area, and open out onto a spacious blue stone terrace; a colorful chandelier hangs from the high ceiling. Adjacent to the formal dining area is the kitchen, updated since Stone’s move-in back in 2012 (the space was previously used as the formal dining room), largely centered on an oversize island with a jet-black countertop and snow-white cabinetry. A unique lime green patterned wallpaper adorns the space, adding a refreshing pop of color to the sunlit room. A cozy lounge area and more informal dining space are located nearby.

The master suite is similarly decorated, though the color palette in the room is a more subdued grayish-blue. The suite contains a spacious lounge area with its own marble-faced fireplace (at present, a big-screen TV looms over the space), as well as a a few walk-in closets and a charming vintage-inspired bathroom with its own deep-soaking tub and separate glass-lined shower. Classic 10-pane French doors open out from the bedroom area onto the back patio. Three additional guest bedrooms similarly boast fun, colorful decor, and complete the rest of the home, along with an oversize bonus/media room ideal for decompressing, with a wet bar and full en suite bathroom.

In the back, the blue stone terrace leads to a swimming pool surrounded on three sides by high hedges and lush lawns. At present, though Stone has called La La Land home for the past few years, it’s possible that she’ll embark on a new life in New York, especially given that her beau of more than a year, SNL writer Dave McCary, lives in the East. Time will tell, also, who will next snap up the celeb-pedigreed home. Prior to Stone’s ownership, late British actor and bon vivant Dudley Moore owned the home; Stone bought the property from Australian film editor Kirk Baxter.
